2. Marking the different pieces with templates, which will later be hand “contoured”
3. Working of turned pieces with a hand lathe

4. Desizing to flatten every irregularity in the wood

5. Masters hand-carving using chisels, gouges and mallet
.
6. Craftsmen hand-assembling at the bench
.
7. Treating with water using a brush to allow the piece to age naturally over time
.
8. Hand-sanding with sandpaper before wax polishing
.
9. Assembly and testing by master craftsman, before wax polishing
.
10. Painting is done individually, on planks that have “cracked” naturally, using ancient techniques
